Saints Community Development Foundation partner with LFC Foundation

Saints Community Development Foundation to partner with LFC Foundation

The Saints Community Development Foundation are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Liverpool Football Club Foundation.

The partnership aims to create a greater impact within the Community by using the power of two iconic badges, and help inspire and strive change through the Foundations. The partnership will provide funding for the Saints Community Development Foundation to increase our delivery and offer within the community.

To launch the partnership, LFC Foundation came down to the home of the Saints Community Development Foundation, with Saints Womens Players Jodie Cunningham, Beri Salihi and Leah Burke, joined by Liverpool Women’s Rachael Laws and Ceri Holland, and former Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.

Joining our Women’s stars were local primary school girls from Allanson Street, for a Rugby League session in our Community Zone, learning new skills through loads of different fun games, with all participants also receiving a Saints Community Development Foundation branded water bottle.

The group then got the opportunity to ask both the Saints Women’s and Liverpool Women’s stars questions about their careers, and share their aims to follow in the footsteps of their role models.

SCDF Business Manager Ben Hardman commented on the partnership: “We are very excited to announce this partnership with the LFC Foundation. It is great to partner with organisations that share similar values that want to make impact and support change in our community”

“Today’s launch showcases just a small snippet of the programme, and we are excited to see what the partnership holds for the future.”

We look forward to growing our relationship with LFC Foundation over next coming year, and continuing to grow our relationship with LFC Foundation!
