Rugbees and Touch Rugby Down at Portico Vine!

As we continue to work alongside our community clubs, we have an exciting, weekly fun day of Rugby League kicking starting tomorrow at Portico!

Our adventure within the new RFL ‘Rugbees’ programme begins tomorrow, with our first session being free for any that attend. The session is aimed at Girls aged between 7-11, and allows them to start their Rugby League journey from a young age with good coaching and development. Saints Women’s Head Coach Matty Smith is leading the programme and looks to continue to develop within the Women’s game!

The Session starts at 6 pm, and will run to 7 pm over at Portico Vine Panthers ARLFC, Scholes Ln, Saint Helens WA10 3PD, and will start off as a free session!

Also over at Portico is our Touch Rugby League Campaign, which kick-started a few weeks ago. Our Touch Rugby League Campaign is aiming to soon be able to enter RFL tournaments, with participants having the chance to represent the Saints, and be in the Red Vee!

To join our Touch Rugby League, you can register by get in contact with our Lead coach Paul Nash who is running the sessions, via his email [email protected], or just turn up to Portico Vine Panthers ARLFC, Scholes Ln, Saint Helens WA10 3PD, from 6:30 pm, with sessions running till 8:30 pm!

Sessions are £3, with the money raised being used to help enter the Saints into future RFL tournaments.
