Mental Health Awareness Week: Take Notice
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2024, St.Helens R.F.C. and Saints Community Development Foundation (SCDF) are highlighting ‘Five Ways To Wellbeing’.
The Saints’ #14 Moses Mbye has today’s tip – TAKE NOTICE – encouraging you to be perhaps be more aware of how you are feeling, and what might be causing you any feeling of stress or anxiety and promoting the idea of mindfulness.
We are also encouraging you to savour the moment too! If you are enjoying something that can boost your mood or makes you feel more positive about life then take the time to enjoy the moment and the environment around you. Moses gives a few tips on how you could maybe do that…
If you are struggling, there is local support that can be helpful:
Our Saints Community Development Foundation (SCDF) runs a programme called Building Foundations which is set out to support men and women looking to perhaps get back into a healthy lifestyle, or even start an active journey. It is also a chance to help create social connections with others too!
First Team player Joe Batchleor and former Saint Phil Vievers lead on the sessions, so why not come along?
