LDRL to launch LDRL Academy!
The Saints Community Development Foundation (SDCF) are pleased to announce the launch of our LDRL Academy!
With the biggest Learning Disability Rugby League team in the country, the SCDF will be launching an LDRL Academy!
The SCDF will become the first to launch an LDRL Academy side, as we look to continue building and growing our already successful LDRL team. The Academy will allow for the LDRL team to take on more players at both older and younger ages, and provide the opportunity for more people to get involved within Rugby League.
Training for the LDRL Academy will be confirmed at a later date, along with information on games and potential festivals also.
SCDF Director, Steve Leonard said: “We have worked tremendously hard to get our LDRL squad where it stands today, which I believe to be the biggest in the country!”
“With that being the case, it is only fair that we again lead the way by launching the first LDRL Academy. Player’s training in their own age groups, and eventually playing against their peers, is something we really look forward to.”
This doesn’t just happen on its own, so I would like to thank all the full-time staff, part-time staff, volunteers, players, and parents for their commitment to our LDRL team. I look forward to seeing the fruits of their labour’s as the months roll on!”
More details regarding the LDRL Academy will be available in the upcoming weeks, for any information check across our social media channels, along with our website.
