Good luck to Katie Mottershead in Vegas
The Saints Community Development Foundation would like to wish Katie Mottershead good luck, as she could feature for England tomorrow in Las Vegas!
Mottershead made her England debut during the mid-season international against France last year. She was named in the England Senior National Performance squad at the beginning of 2024, and having impressed a club level made her international debut. Mottershead was also selected to be part of the training camp towards the end of the year, and has now booked her ticket to Las Vegas.
England will face the Jillaroos on Sunday morning (2am UK time), their first clash against the Australians since 2017. The game will be live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, if anyone wants to watch Mottershead in action.

Alongside Mottershead, there are also six other Saints in the England squad. Amy Hardcastle, Erin Stott, Shona Hoyle, Vicky Whitfield and Zoe Harris have also been selected, as well as Jodie Cunningham who will captain England on the night.
Its part of a four-game Rugby League extravaganza in Las Vegas, with Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves kicking it off in the Super League at 9:30pm UK time, before Canberra Raiders face New Zealand Warriors in the NRL at midnight.
England Women will then face the Jillaroos at 2am, before Penrith Panthers face Cronulla Sharks at 4:30am, in the second NRL game of the evening.

The new Saints #9 made her Redvee debut back in 2021, as she featured in a Challenge Cup game at Barrow Raiders, scoring a try in a 0-68 victory on their way to winning a second Challenge Cup title in a row.
She has gone on to make 41 appearances in all for Saints, since that point. That including back to back victories at Wembley in the Challenge Cup.
We at the Saints Community Development Foundation would like to wish Katie and her teammates good luck on Sunday! (or Saturday, if you’re in America)
