Day One of the Cycle to Perpignan

Today we had our first day of the Cycle to Perpignan fundraiser, which took place at Tesco throughout the day!

If you want to donate you can do so by visiting our Just Giving page here. Alternatively you can also donate at Tesco, with card machines available as well. All donations received are greatly appreciated.

The bikes for the fundraiser are placed next to the opening doors at Tesco. You will also walk past the participants as you leave the store.

It all got underway at 9am, as our Business Manager Ben Hardman and Project Delivery Manager Brad Billsborough got us started on the three days of cycling. Staff throughout the club got involved with the fundraiser, with all profits going towards the Saints Community Development Foundation.

We also had members of the St Helens Women’s side join us in the afternoon. Head of Women’s Pathways & Performance Jodie Cunningham was joined by our Women’s & Girls Ambassador Katie Mottershead and Phoebe Hook.

We also had representatives from Saints Angels get involved. Lucy Bromilow had two hours of cycling, with Eloise King joining us for the penultimate hour of the cycle.

The goal is for us to hit 785 miles across the three days of the challenge, with Thursday and Friday the remaining days prior to the game in Perpignan.
