RugBees makes its 2025 return at Blackbrook

Popular girls programme RugBees made its return on Monday evening at Blackbrook!

Its the third year of the programme, with it also having took place in both 2023 and 2024. The first year we spent the entirety of the 20 weeks at Portico Vine, whilst in the second year we went on tour, visiting the likes of Newton Storm, Haydock Warriors, Portico Vine and Thatto Heath Crusaders.

This year, we are aiming to host the programme at five different venues for four weeks each. On Monday we got underway at Blackbrook, with the likes of Portico Vine, Thatto Heath Crusaders and Newton Storm, with a final club to be confirmed at a later date.

We had six girls turn up for the first session of RugBees this year, with more expected to follow in the coming weeks as the weather continues to get warmer.

*Please note that sessions on 21st April, 5th May, 16th May and 25th August will not take place due to bank holidays so the dates have been adjusted accordingly!
