Saints Wheelchair Rugby League is Launched!

On Wednesday, we hosted our first ever Wheelchair Rugby League Session!

After months of hard-work behind the scenes, on Wednesday the 5th of February, Sutton Leisure Centre welcomed in all attendees to our first ever Saints Wheelchair Rugby League Session.

Joining us for our first Wheelchair Rugby League Session was Paul Marsh of Bespoke Funding Solutions, who has again shown his support for the Foundation and sponsored our Wheelchair Rugby League programme!

8 participants joined us at the Sutton Leisure Centre, with the session led by one of our most experienced coaches and volunteers Barry Diggles, along with our business manager Ben Hardman is attendance for the launch event.

The players got put to their paces with some fun games and drills to warm themselves into Wheelchair Rugby League, for those whose first time it was playing the sport.

It was a first successful session at our Wheelchair Rugby League launch, which over the course of the next few weeks will be build on as we carry on developing our programme!

Over the February Half-Term, we have more opportunities to get involved, with our first Wheelchair Rugby League Camps coming up soon:
