SCDF Launch Saints Angels Primary Troop Championship!
Saints Community Development Foundation (SCDF) is excited to announce the Saints Angels Primary Troop Championship!
The competition is for primary schools in St Helens to take part in the competition which has been sponsored by the Game On project through the Coalfields Regeneration Trust. This sponsorship has allowed for the competition to be free for schools to enter.
The competition is a great way for primary schools to engage and offer an alternative competition for their children and young people to get involved in. Every child that competes in the competition will receive a participation medal and a certificate. There are 3 different categories for schools to enter and there will be a 1-3 winner in each category. There will also be an overall trophy to be awarded at the end of the competition.
“I am very passionate in delivering the Saints Angels Primary Troop Competition and the impact this will have in not only developing skills of those children competing but also give them an opportunity to perform on a stage that they may not have had the opportunity to do so before” said SCDF Dance Lead Lucy Bromilow.
By taking part in the competition children will be able to develop a number of different skills and abilities such as:
- Improving Self Esteem
- Improving Confidence
- Building Teamwork
- Improve Discipline
- Building Creativity
- Improved fitness
- Improve Creativity
SCDF in partnership with Game on are excited to be able to host this competition and looking forward to opening the doors of St Helens Town Hall to welcome primary schools to participate in this event.
