2024 RugBees Finale at the Totally Wicked Stadium

Our final RugBees event of the year took place at the Totally Wicked Stadium last Wednesday evening!

Katie Mottershead hosted the evening, with the likes of Jodie Cunningham and Pip Birchall from the St. Helens Women’s side also showing their faces at the event.

Girls aged 7 to 11 have attended the 20-week programme around the local community. We started at Newton Storm back in April, running for five weeks there before switching to Haydock Warriors ARLFC.

Once we had completed the five weeks at Haydock, we moved to Thatto Heath Crusaders in June, before finishing the programme at Portico Vine ARLFC between July and August.

The girls were invited to attend a bonus awards evening at the Totally Wicked Stadium last Wednesday (4th Septemnber 2024).

Dates for the third year of RugBees will be announced in due course.
